Elliot V. Matloff is a life and health insurance broker and registered representative with the NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers), license 057583. He is president of The Matloff Company, a Beverly Hills based firm started in April 1979. He and his staff provide general insurance and financial planning to clients throughout the United States. He offers life and health insurance for family and business protection and charitable remainder trusts and estate planning products for the high net worth clients. He also provides individual and group disability income protection and long term care insurance. He is licensed in California and 18 other states. His clients range from individuals and small to large companies. Other typical clients include highly compensated executives, physicians and sports and entertainment industry individuals. He currently enjoys endorsements from the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Santa Monica Bar Association.
Prior to entering the insurance business, Mr. Matloff owned and operated a successful chain of sporting goods stores in Beverly Hills, West Los Angeles and Santa Monica.
He currently ranks as a top life, health and disability producer with many major insurance companies. He has won many industry service awards and is a recognized national speaker on disability insurance, long term care and new life insurance products.
A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Matloff graduated from UCLA with degrees in biology and psychology. He is an active member of the Jewish Homes for the Aging in Reseda, California, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and the Young Artists International.
His family includes children Brandon and Amanda. He is an avid golfer, tennis player, skier, scuba diver, pilot and classical pianist.
