ELLIOT V. MATLOFF

Mr. Elliot V. Matloff is Chief Executive Officer of The Matloff Company, an insurance and financial services firm offering life, health, disability, long term care insurance and retirement plans.  He and his staff have been providing insurance protection to U.S and international clients since August 1, 1979.  He is licensed in California and 29 other states.

 

His clients range from entrepreneurs, attorneys, CPA’s, doctors and executives to professional athletes, entertainment industry personalities and small and large companies.    He has expertise in personal and business insurance, estate planning products for high net worth clients, business succession, charitable giving and retirement programs.

 

He currently enjoys exclusive endorsements from several business professional associations, such as the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles,  The American Veterinary Medical Association and Western University College of Health and Sciences.

 

He currently ranks as a top life, health and disability producer with many major insurance companies.  He continues to win several industry service awards and is a recognized national expert and speaker on risk management and deferred compensation programs for the highly compensated executive.  Mr. Matloff speaks at the annual conventions of several large insurance companies. He also speaks annually to the medical graduating classes of Cornell University, Oregon State and Western University.

 

A native of Los Angeles, Mr. Matloff graduated from UCLA with degrees in biology and psychology.  He is an active volunteer for the Jewish Home for the Aging in Reseda, California and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

 

Prior to entering the insurance business, Mr. Matloff owned a successful chain of sporting goods stores throughout Southern California. 

 

He is an avid golfer, tennis player, skier, scuba diver, airplane pilot and classical pianist. He also guides the careers of several world class young classical and jazz musicians.  He lives in Tarzana, CA.
